Premier of the film “Mother Teresa and I” in Switzerland
On October 24, in the premises of Kino Le Paris in Zurich, the film “Mother Teresa and I”, a Swiss-Indian production directed and written by Kemal Musale, began its journey in Switzerland.
The film presents an interwoven narrative of two parallel stories across generations, that of Mother Teresa, skillfully played by actress Jacqueline Fritschi-Cornaz and Kavita (Banita Sandhu) – two women who ultimately obey their calling despite great personal doubts that they face in life.
Mother Teresa’s Albanian affiliation and her origin from Skopje are important elements in this film. At its first screening in Switzerland, the permanent representative of the Republic of North Macedonia to the UN in Geneva, her excellency Teuta Agai-Demjaha and the director of the NI Memorial House of Mother Teresa in Skopje, Naser Curri had the opportunity to give a speech.
On this occasion, Mr. Curri, as a sign of gratitude, presented actress Jacqueline Fritschi-Cornaz with a medallion with the portrait of Mother Teresa.
